SECTION 1 – Personal information

Boki collects personal data through website visits and purchases. To do so, we use cookies, which are very small text files, stored on your computer during the site visit. You can disable cookies through your browser. To know more about cookies please refer to section below.

When you buy  something from boki.uk, as part of the selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address, phone number and email address. In doing so, you allow us to store this information in the customer database where your personal information is kept for 2 years.

You can request us to delete your personal information at any time after your order has been processed and delivered by sending an email to info@boki.uk with the headline ‘delete my information’ (see Section II “Changes and access to your personal information”). We may also collect non-personal information about you even if you do not purchase any products on our website.

Email marketing: With your permission, we may send you emails about promotions, our new products and other fun updates.

We may share certain financial and other information that you submit with third parties who provide essential services to the website ie. payment services. Said third parties proceed to credit reporting, payment or order fulfillment services, such as verifying your information, authenticating payments and processing orders. SECTION 8 - Competition

We will process your data when you enter our competitions. Your personal data will be used by us to contact contestants regarding the competition, before and after an event, to identity contestants, verify the age of contestants, to contact winners, deliver and follow up on prize deliveries.

Data that is forwarded to third parties, is only used to provide you with the services mentioned above, to shipping suppliers for delivery of prize. The processing of your personal data is based on your consent when you choose to enter a competition. You have the right to withdraw your consent for the processing of your personal data at any time. When you do so we, will not be able to provide you with the services mentioned above.

We will keep your personal data for 45 days after the competition has ended.

SECTION 9 - Customer Accounts

We will use your personal data to create and manage your personal account in order to give you a personalised and relevant experience at our site. 

We will provide you with your order history, details around your orders and enable you to handle your account settings (including marketing preferences). We will also provide you with easy ways to maintain accurate and updated information such as contact details and payment information.

Furthermore, we will enable you to save items in your shopping bag, offer you size recommendations, enable you to rate and review the products you've purchased from us.
